The Art of agriculture in java “ Rice terraces” a natural design of the cultural landscape of the javanese farmers , creating the identity of java with beautifull mountainous area that makes you to be a part of the nature .
The whole trip will take you about 4 hours, 50 minutes drive on scenic road, and to explore the area we need to have an easy walk through the huge rice terraces, the end of the walk is small hindu temple called Selogriyo.
To do this trip is better in the morning or late afternoon.
As an agriculture country, Java is the most fertile island and produces one third of the food’s need in Indonesia. Rice and crops grow very well both in dry and rainy season. The whole landscape is lush with vegetations and rice fields.
